Pine Island Presbyterian Church (Mattawan) on Sunday, April 20, 2008, in
recognition of Earth Day, celebrated the "Greening of the Cross". All were
invited to bring cut flowers to add to the cross.
Delta Presbyterian Church offered a ROBO-Day Camp for community children
K-5th grade on Spring Break from 8:30-3:30. The theme was recycling. Crafts,
songs education, games, skits, costumes and Robots were made from recyclables
donated by church members. Those that were left were recyled. Thirty five
children attended and 30 adults volunteered.
First Presbyterian in Decatur invited members to share crosses with their
church family. Click here to see the variety
of crosses they received. They also have a
unique wall hanging of the Last Supper crocheted
by an aunt of one their elders. It measures some 46" long.
Online Flower Chart
email from Cadillac -
One of the ministries of our Outreach & Fellowship Team is to coordinate the
flowers for our sanctuary. There is a flower chart on the bulletin board at the
landing by the north east entrance. For $15 people may purchase the flowers and
have them in memory or honor of someone if they wish. When you do this you
simply make a check payable to the Presbyterian Outreach Team. You do not have
to order the flowers – the Outreach Team takes care of that.
Some Sundays are signed up for and some are not. For those Sundays when no
one is signed up the Outreach & Fellowship covers the cost of the flowers.
Last year about ˝ of the Sundays were covered by Outreach & Fellowship.
On their behalf I would like to encourage our members to sign up for a
Sunday. To assist in this I have placed a form on our members only web site
where you can sign up for flowers and then send or bring your check to the
office. As people sign up I will update the form indicating those weeks that are
already filled.
To access this page simply go to

to our members only section and click on the button for the flower chart.

Lansing Delta Offers Taizé Services
Delta Presbyterian Church,
6100 West Michigan Avenue in Lansing, will hold monthly Taizé
style meditative worship on the third Sunday evening of every month
at 7:00. Click here to find information about
the Taizé community.
Delta's Taizé worship team includes four
musicians, two cantors, and a worship leader. The heart of the
service is the music, but there is a period for quiet meditation on
Scripture which is read in three or four languages.
“I Love Homework” was
the theme for the 2007 Urban Plunge. "Not only do we love putting our hands to
work to provide the safety, security and dignity of a home for others, we also
love the work God has done through the ages to be our spiritual home."
