Presbytery Grants and Scholarships

The purpose of the Grant program is to provide money for churches/organizations wanting to support the priorities, goals and core values of the presbytery. This includes (but is not limited to) communication, evangelism, coaching, and spiritual formation.

Lilly Endowment Announces 7th Season for National Clergy Renewal Program

The Indianapolis-based Lilly Endowment Inc. offers grants of up to $45,000 to congregations across the country to allow their pastors to spend some time away from the daily demands of parish ministry.

Denomination Related Monies

  • Mission Program Grants - new congregations, transforming congregations and congregational-based ministries that reflect the denomination’s commitment to inclusiveness, diversity and ecumenicity.
  • Restricted Funds Oversight Subcommittee - Each year the denomination has monies that were not spent, contact the Presbytery Office or the Oversight Subcommittee for more information.
  • PW Birthday Offering Grants - $50,000-$250,000.  Annual deadline June 15. Funds agricultural development, child care, community organization, criminal justice, drug counseling, economic justice, elderly care, employment training, homelessness, literacy, violence and women’s concerns.
  • PW Thank Offering Grants - $1,000-$30,000. Annual deadline September 15. Funds  agricultural development, child care, community organization, criminal justice, drug counseling, economic justice, elderly care, employment training, homelessness, literacy, violence and women’s concerns. At least 40 percent of this offering supports health ministries throughout the world.
