 The Mission of the Peacemakers Team of the Presbytery of Lake Michigan is to communicate, promote and be an advocate for peacemaking efforts and for the full participation of all the people of God in all aspects of church life. It encourages our churches and church-related groups to include peacemaking in worship, participate in community justice ministries, study and respond to global justice issues, and promote the understanding and need for protection and restoration of our environment and support the PC(USA) offering and commitment to peacemaking.The current Peacemakers Team consists of:

To be agents of change in the world according to the words of Christ Jesus: "Blessed are the peacemakers." 2. To be a witness within the Presbyterian Church USA to the vocation of active, nonviolent peacemaking, which we believe is the true calling of Christ's church. 3.
