Grant Application Process
In order to assess equitably all the applications for grants, the Committee
on Self-Development of People has adopted an application form for
its monies.
Please complete the application form
providing the proposal outline requested and answering the questions as
completely as possible. The Committee will need fourteen (14) copies of the
completed application form. You may want to include material you have already
developed for your community of need. Letters and supporting documents from
others in the area who have worked with and/or support your community of need
will also be helpful. Please mail your application packet to be received at the Presbytery
office no later than September 1 to:
Presbytery of Lake Michigan
1511 Helen Avenue
Portage, MI 49002

The Kalamazoo Homeless Action Network has been awarded a $20,000 grant for
their Campaign for Human Dignity project from the Self-Development National
Committee of the PCUSA. Congratulations!
Presbyterian congregations, through their giving to the One Great House of
Sharing, enable Self-Development of People to enter into partnership with
communities such as the Kalamazoo Homeless Action Network. Local congregations
are encouraged to contact this Agency to learn more about the program.
