During closing worship "a house" was dedicated to God. The house was constructed
from the small group Bible study and reflections the young people did throughout
the weekend. Using Matthew 7:24-27, Luke 11:9-10, Luke 15:11-32 and Psalm
90:1-6, the youth reflected on their foundation, what God is calling them to see
and do in the world, the walls they construct between each other and God and
their thanksgiving for the spiritual home God has blessed us with from
generation to generation. The young people's reflections were recorded on the
bricks, window panes and roof tiles that were then used on Sunday morning to
construct a house in the chancel, symbolizing our home in God.
